Patricia Lambert

IT Manager

Originally from Newcastle where she completed her IT training, Patricia moved to London to pursue a career in IT working with the IT department of a large advertising agency before joining NLP in 1997.

She now heads up the firm’s IT team and is responsible for the installation and ongoing maintenance of all firm hardware and software, as well as resolving day-to-day IT issues. IT advances mean her role is forever evolving and she enjoys the new challenges this presents.

Outside of work, Patricia enjoys reading and is an avid fan of black and white films.

Three things to know about Patricia

If you could invite three people (living, dead or fictitious) to a dinner party, who would they be?

Terry Pratchett: I miss his take on life, and his Discworld stories

Neil Gaiman: he was great friends with Terry Pratchett and I’d love to discuss both of their thoughts on the series, and the casting, of ‘Good Omens’. Amongst a million other things

Stephen Fry: he’s charming, intelligent, and funny, and can talk entertainingly forever

What is your favourite quote?

“I’m old-fashioned and think that reading books is the most glorious pastime that humankind has yet devised.”

Wisława Szymborska

Who would play you in your biopic?

Caroline Quentin – partly because I was mistaken for her once, but mostly because I’d love to imagine myself helping Jonathan Creek, an eccentric magician’s assistant, solve crimes whilst bickering, getting in his way and writing a book.
