A precision engineering company
Nyman Libson Paul initiated a Research and Development tax claim on behalf of a very long standing, prestigious client.
Research and Development Tax claims have stringent conditions attached but after reviewing all the issues, it was decided that a claim (going back to 2002) was worth making.
With the help of the client’s technical R&D director, a detailed claim was made, including labour costs, materials and consumables and an explanation of each project to illustrate the advancement in technology benefiting the industry in general, not just the company.
The Corporation tax computations and Returns for each of four years was revised to show the R&D enhancement claim and then submitted to the specialist HMRC office.
The claims were accepted in full, providing a tax rebate of over £43,000.
“We are very pleased with the result. Many thanks for your work on this.”-
