TTR is Official! And You’re Invited to Our Seminars

It’s official!

On 17 July the Finance Act 2014 was enacted, meaning that Theatre Tax Relief (TTR) is now enshrined in law (Sch 4 FA 2014, to be precise). There were no significant changes to the original draft legislation.

We now await HMRC’s detailed guidance, due to be published in August, which will set out their interpretation of the legislation. Of course we may disagree with some of this interpretation, but that’s all part of the game.

To help our clients and contacts understand the mechanics and practical application of the legislation, we will be running free in-house seminars in the Autumn.

These will be hosted by our team of theatre experts: Anthony Pins, Paul Taiano and Andy Williamson, together with our Creative Tax Relief expert Dave Morrison who oversees all our Film, Animation and TV Tax Credit claims, and lectures widely on the subject. Each seminar will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments.

At present we are offering two alternative dates:

• Tuesday 30 September 5pm to 7pm
• Wednesday 1 October 12 noon to 2pm

To reserve your place please email quoting your name and preference on dates. Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
