Last week was one of the busier ones for the Theatre Department here at NLP, with the Critics’ Circle Theatre Awards on Tuesday and The Stage Awards on Friday.
The Critics’ Circle Theatre Awards held at the Prince of Wales Theatre, saw Ivo van Hoe win ‘Best Director’, Helen McCory win ‘Best Actress’ and Mark Strong win ‘Best Actor’ amongst some more very worthy winners. For a full list please click here.
This was our first year sponsoring The Stage International Award at their annual award ceremony at The Theatre Royal. The award was won by Shakespeare’s Globe, with London Theatre of the Year going to the Young Vic Theatre, and Producer of the Year going to Sonia Friedman. A list of all the awards and winners can be found here.
Our busy schedule continues into this week with our two UK Theatre Tax Relief seminars on Wednesday 4 February. These sessions will draw on our experiences over the last few months in advising on and submitting claims, which have given us a deeper understanding of the impact and effects of the legislation on producers and productions both here in the UK, and internationally.
The seminars will be held at our offices at 124 Finchley Road this Wednesday 4 February, with drinks and canapés served, at the following times:
12 noon – 2pm
6pm – 7.30pm
Should you wish to attend either session please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your name, company and preferred time. Please feel free to pass on details of the events to others who may be interested in attending
