James Boothroyd

James is a general practice partner principally advising clients on accounting, audit and taxation matters. He works with privately owned businesses of all sizes ranging from start ups to large groups with international interests. He has experience of working with many different business sectors including property, insurance, retail and manufacturing.

James deals with many specialist assignments including charity and pension scheme accounts and audit, assisting FSA regulated clients and dealing with ABTA/ATOL requirements for clients in the travel industry. He has also completed a number of due diligence assignments relating to company acquisitions.

James is one of the partners responsible for the firm’s audit department and deals with the recruitment and counselling of the firm’s audit trainees. He originally trained and qualified with a large firm, working in both their Thames Valley and London offices before joining Nyman Libson Paul in 2005.

Outside of work James enjoys a family orientated life with his wife and two young children.
