Client: Major Film Studio

A major film Studio appointed us to assist in the recovery of a significant sum of Italian VAT which had dragged on for many years.

We carefully examined the claims submitted and the issues and queries that were still outstanding. A practical and effective strategy was then formulated with the assistance of our local representative. We perservered with completing the documentation. Following various meetings with the Italian VAT authorities, the claim was finally agreed.

Within a relatively short period, the client received their refund in excess of 1.5 million Euros. In addition, we also successfully negotiated a large interest supplement covering this period which the company was not expecting. As the client put it “this was a great victory and without your assistance, we would not have received this refund.”
